Eloquence is a boutique residential development by Form 700, located on Buckley Street, Moonee Ponds, comprising 35 luxury residences in Melbourne’s inner north-west. The development reflects a high standard of residential design and construction, requiring building infrastructure that performs reliably while integrating unobtrusively into daily building operations.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a waste chute system suited to the operational needs of a boutique multi-residential building. The system provides efficient waste transfer across multiple levels, reducing manual handling for building management and supporting streamlined waste room operations throughout the development.
The installation services five chute pipe levels spanning ground floor through to level 4, with fire-rated self-closing waste intake doors installed at each level. Signage was fitted to each intake door to support correct use by residents. The chute runs vertically with a standard offset configuration, with the discharge room located at basement level 1. A Type A bottom discharge door was installed at basement level 1, configured to suit a 1,100L mobile garbage bin. The discharge configuration supports clean and efficient waste collection at bin level, minimising handling requirements for facilities staff and keeping the basement waste room organised.
A vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed at level 4, discharging through to open air on the level above to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene. The system ensures the chute shaft remains clean and well-ventilated throughout its operational life, supporting a low-maintenance outcome for residents and building management alike.
The completed installation provides Form 700 with a durable and compliant waste infrastructure solution tailored to the scale and character of Eloquence, delivering reliable long-term performance within a premium boutique residential setting.
