Essence on Sutton is a luxury coastal residential development by Contrast Constructions, located at 4-8 Sutton Street, Redcliffe QLD, on the Redcliffe Peninsula overlooking Moreton Bay. The nine-storey design and construct development delivers 26 apartments positioned within minutes of Redcliffe’s dining precinct, cafes, beaches, and boutique shopping.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a waste chute system for Contrast Constructions, servicing the building’s chute pipe levels with galvanised steel chute pipes. Fire-rated self-closing intake doors are fitted across the majority of levels, with one level configured as a bypass and a medium offset incorporated at the mid-level to suit the building’s layout.
An odour relief vent and flushing spray point is fitted at the top level of the chute to manage air quality and exit to open air. The system discharges to a room at ground level, with a minor offset configuration to the waste stream. The final bin size for the discharge point is to be confirmed.
The completed installation gives Essence on Sutton a compliant, low-maintenance waste management solution suited to a boutique luxury residential environment, reducing manual handling for building management while supporting the building’s premium coastal positioning.
