Elephants Foot Chute Solutions delivered a high-capacity waste management system for Hutchinson Builders’ Bela by Mosaic, a 26-level luxury high-rise at Mermaid Beach. This Property Council of Australia award-finalist development features 115 premium apartments with over 22 five-star amenities including multiple pools, spa facilities, and executive lounges.
The installation comprises a 610mm diameter waste chute system serving 25 levels, constructed to exacting specifications for high-rise applications. Twenty-four self-closing fire-rated hopper doors provide secure disposal points throughout the tower, while a Type A discharge door with fusible link accommodates 1100L mobile garbage bins (MGBs) at ground level.
Designed to complement the development’s luxury standards, the system operates discreetly while handling the waste demands of resort-style living. The solution integrates seamlessly with Rothelowman’s architectural vision, maintaining clean lines and premium finishes throughout the tower’s service areas.
