A large-scale waterfront development supported by eight integrated waste chute systems for efficient resource management

Elephants Foot partnered with Parkview Constructions to deliver eight modern waste chute systems for Woolooware Bay Town Centre – Stage 4, a mixed-use waterfront precinct comprising eight residential buildings designed by Turner Studio.

Each building was equipped with 510mm galvanised steel chutes running across multiple levels, fitted with fire-rated chute doors to ensure safety and compliance. At the basement level, tailored discharge attachments were installed to suit 1100L MGBs, creating streamlined waste collection across all towers.

To improve hygiene and functionality, each chute was fitted with vent and wash-down cleaning systems, supported by a comprehensive schedule of 240L mobile garbage bins for both waste and recycling streams. Together, these systems delivered a robust, compliant and future-ready solution tailored for a high-density, multi-building development.
