The system features 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes installed vertically through all five levels, providing a smooth, uninterrupted waste path from each apartment level to the ground floor discharge room. Each level is fitted with fire rated, self closing intake doors that protect the building from fire and smoke spread while giving residents a simple and reliable disposal point. These doors are designed for durability and frequent use, which is essential in residential environments with daily waste generation.
At ground level, the chute discharges through a splitter system into 1100L mobile garbage bins. This configuration allows waste to be directed safely into collection bins without manual lifting or handling, improving workplace safety and speeding up collection cycles. The splitter also supports efficient separation and transfer of waste, which is critical for maintaining a clean and organised bin room.
To maintain hygiene and long term performance, the system includes a fully integrated vent and wash down cleaning system installed at the top of the chute. This allows the chute interior to be flushed and deodorised, reducing odours, controlling bacteria, and helping prevent material build up.
