Munro House is a boutique luxury residential development by Ceerose, located at 11-13 Greenknowe Avenue, Elizabeth Bay NSW, in one of Sydney’s most tightly held harbourside enclaves between Potts Point, Rushcutters Bay, and Woolloomooloo. The development’s premium character and boutique scale required a practical and compliant waste management solution that performs reliably while integrating seamlessly into the building’s operational infrastructure.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to supply and install a waste chute system tailored to the building’s vertical layout and occupancy requirements. The system provides efficient waste transfer across six chute pipe levels, with six fire-rated self-closing waste intake doors installed at every operational level. Signage was fitted to each intake door to support correct use by residents. The chute runs straight up and down throughout the shaft, with the discharge room located at ground level.
A linear track system without compactor configured to suit a 660L waste MGB was installed at ground level, supporting efficient bin management and rotation within the ground floor waste room and reducing manual handling requirements for building management.
A vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed at the top of the chute shaft, discharging through to open air on the level above to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene throughout the full height of the shaft.
The completed installation provides Ceerose with a durable, compliant, and low-maintenance waste infrastructure solution suited to the boutique luxury character of Munro House, supporting efficient building operations and a refined residential experience for occupants within one of Sydney’s most prestigious inner-city harbour addresses.
