659 Whitehorse Waste Chute System Mount Albert

The 659 Whitehorse residential development by Stemcon required a robust and compliant waste management solution capable of supporting medium to high density living in Melbourne’s eastern growth corridor.

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a high performance waste chute system engineered to provide safe, hygienic and efficient waste disposal for residents across multiple levels. The system incorporates fire rated intake doors, sealed chute sections and controlled discharge to maintain building safety and indoor air quality.

The 510mm galvanised steel chute runs from the roof to the basement and includes a vent and wash down cleaning system that helps control odours and maintain internal hygiene. Waste is discharged via a Type A bottom discharge unit designed to interface cleanly with 1100L mobile garbage bins, reducing manual handling and improving collection efficiency.

This purpose built chute system supports reliable day to day building operations, helping residents dispose of waste easily while protecting long term building performance and compliance.
