
Warby Street is a residential development delivered by Building Corp in the Campbelltown growth corridor. Positioned close to transport, retail and essential services, the project supports medium to high density living and required a reliable centralised waste management solution to handle daily residential volumes while meeting fire safety and building compliance standards.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a complete waste chute solution using components from its Chute Systems range. The galvanised steel chute risers provide smooth and controlled vertical waste transfer from all residential levels to the basement bin room.
Each level was fitted with fire rated self closing intake doors from Elephants Foot’s Chute Doors range, helping maintain fire compartmentation, reduce noise and odour transfer, and ensure safe resident use.
At basement level, waste is processed through a carousel compactor system designed to suit 240 litre mobile garbage bins. This system improves bin utilisation, reduces collection frequency, and supports efficient waste handling in high density residential buildings.
A roof level vent and wash down system from Elephants Foot’s Odour Management range provides airflow and internal chute cleaning, helping control odours, improve hygiene and support long term system performance.
