The Proximity, developed and built by Deicorp, is a master-planned residential development in the heart of Rouse Hill Town Centre, designed by GroupGSA. The project comprises 375 apartments across six buildings, requiring a scalable and high-performance waste management system.

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to deliver Dual Chute Systems across multiple stages. Stage 1 covered Towers 3, 4, 5, and 6, with 4 dual chute systems (8 chutes total) spanning 68 chute pipe levels. Stage 2 included Towers 1 and 2, with 2 dual chute systems (4 chutes total) across 32 chute pipe levels.

Each system incorporated acoustic lagging upgraded to Soundlag 4525C for noise reduction, self-closing 2-hour fire-rated Chute Doors with clear signage, and Discharge Attachments for waste and recycling. Linear Track Bin Systems were installed for recycling, and Linear Compactor Systems for waste, ensuring efficient and hygienic waste handling. Integrated vent and wash-down systems maintain hygiene and odour control, aligning with Odour Management best practices.

By delivering durable, scalable, and compliant solutions, Elephants Foot enhanced operational efficiency for building managers while supporting safe and clean-living conditions for residents. The project demonstrates Elephants Foot’s commitment to high-density residential waste management solutions.
