Elephants Foot Chute Solutions Installs Premium Waste Chute System for The Manning Apartments in Milton

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Mosaic Property Group to deliver a tailored waste management solution for The Manning, a 22-level luxury residential development in Milton. Designed in collaboration with BDA Architecture, the project comprises 113 oversized apartments with two- and three-bedroom layouts, multipurpose rooms, and expansive balconies that enhance inner-city living.

The scope of works included the supply and installation of a waste chute system with 21 galvanised steel chute pipes running from level 2 to the rooftop terrace. Each residential level was fitted with a fire-rated, self-closing Chute Door, including a custom intake hopper and major mid-level offset to suit site conditions.

To enhance acoustic comfort for residents, the chute system incorporated 21 levels of acoustic lagging. At the rooftop terrace, an odour relief vent and flushing spray was installed, exhausting to open air above the building to maintain hygiene and air quality.

At ground level, the discharge room was fitted with a Discharge Attachment incorporating a medium offset, connected to an integrated single bin compactor system designed to suit 1100L MGBs. This streamlined waste handling while ensuring compliance with fire and building standards.

The Manning’s chute system was engineered for long-term performance, balancing safety, resident comfort, and operational efficiency in one of Milton’s most prestigious residential developments.
