Elephants Foot Chute Solutions designed and installed a premium eDiverter waste chute system for Harris HMC Construction’s The Healey development in Moorabbin. This architect-designed retirement living facility spans six levels with 55 luxury one-to-three bedroom apartments, featuring exceptional club-style amenities including a library, cinema, gym, and landscaped courtyard. The project presented unique challenges with its innovative design incorporating an existing church structure.

The installation features a 510mm diameter galvanised steel eDiverter system serving five levels, constructed to Elephants Foot Chute Solutions’ exacting standards. The solution includes four self-closing fire-rated hopper doors with 2-hour fire resistance and smoke seals, ensuring safety and odour control for residents. At ground level, the system incorporates a custom eDiverter discharge unit configured for optimal waste handling.
