Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Hutchinson Builders to supply and install a custom eDiverter® chute system for The Ambrose, a landmark 20-storey residential tower at 9–23 McDougall St, Milton, Brisbane. Developed by Kokoda Property and designed by Cottee Parker Architects, the building features 174 premium apartments and two retail spaces.

The system includes 18 levels of waste and recycling chute pipes, with 16 self-closing intake hoppers and doors installed across Levels 3 and 5–19. Two bypass levels at Levels 2 and 4 allow uninterrupted chute runs, and a major chute offset through the wall at Level 1 accommodates building layout constraints.

To support hygiene and performance, a vent and wash-down cleaning system extends from Level 19 to the rooftop. The eDiverter discharge system is configured to suit 1,100L MGB bins, and an integrated Linear Track Bin System is included to enhance waste collection efficiency.

This installation delivers a safe, discreet, and long-term waste management solution tailored to a high-rise residential environment, ensuring both operational efficiency and resident convenience.
