Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Astina Group to deliver advanced dual chute systems for Solis by Astina, a landmark residential development in Penrith designed by IDG Architects. With 112 luxury residences, penthouses, and terrace homes, the project required a waste and recycling solution that balanced capacity, efficiency, and compliance.

Across three buildings, a total of 42 galvanised steel chute pipes were installed, supported by 42 fire-rated, self-closing chute doors, each fitted with signage for resident use. The design ensured chute runs remained straight throughout, minimising structural complexity and future maintenance requirements.

At the rooftop level, six vent and washdown cleaning systems were integrated to discharge through open air above, maintaining hygiene and functionality. At the basement discharge rooms, the systems incorporated six linear track bin systems, each tailored to suit 1100L MGBs for both waste and recycling streams.

This large-scale installation demonstrates Elephants Foot’s ability to coordinate complex multi-building projects, providing resilient and future-ready waste solutions that align with Solis by Astina’s premium living standards.
