To meet these requirements, Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed two centralised residential waste chute systems servicing both residential towers. The systems enable efficient vertical waste transfer from all occupied levels to ground‑level discharge rooms, significantly reducing manual waste handling while improving servicing efficiency for building management teams.
Each tower incorporates 610mm galvanised steel chute pipes engineered for high‑volume residential applications and long‑term structural durability. Fire‑rated, self‑closing waste intake doors are installed at each operational level, providing safe, compliant, and user‑friendly resident access while ensuring adherence to relevant building and fire safety standards.
At the uppermost levels, integrated vent and wash‑down cleaning systems support continuous airflow, odour control, and internal chute hygiene, helping maintain performance and cleanliness across the life of the system—an essential feature for high‑rise residential buildings operating in coastal conditions.
