Adina Towers Tower A Waste Chute System

Adina Towers – Tower A is a medium‑to‑high density residential development delivered by Heran Construction within Brisbane’s bayside corridor. Located close to transport, retail, and waterfront amenities, the project required a dependable waste handling solution designed to support daily resident use while maintaining compliance, operational efficiency, and long‑term building performance.

To meet these requirements, Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a dedicated residential waste chute system, providing efficient vertical waste transfer from residential levels to the building’s central collection area. The installation incorporates durable 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes servicing Ground through Level 4, delivering reliable performance suited to multi‑storey apartment environments.

Each level is fitted with fire‑rated, self‑closing waste chute intake doors, ensuring safe, secure, and user‑friendly resident access while supporting building fire safety compliance. Acoustic lagging installed along the chute sections assists with noise control between floors, improving resident comfort and supporting overall building performance. At the uppermost level, an integrated vent and wash‑down cleaning system helps maintain airflow, internal hygiene, and odour management for consistent long‑term operation.

At basement level, waste is discharged through a medium‑offset discharge arrangement connected to a Type A discharge door designed to suit future bin requirements, supporting flexible servicing arrangements as the building’s operational needs evolve. Together, the installation forms part of the building’s broader apartment waste management infrastructure, providing a reliable, compliant, and low‑maintenance solution tailored to contemporary residential living in Brisbane’s bayside precinct.
