Positioned within an established suburban corridor close to transport links, health precincts, and local services, the project required a reliable and compliant waste management solution to support daily residential use.

To meet these requirements, Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a single eDiverter™ waste and recycling chute system, providing controlled separation of waste streams while maintaining safe and efficient vertical transfer throughout the building.

The system incorporates 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes servicing six residential levels from Ground to Level 5. Fire‑rated, self‑closing waste and recycling intake doors are installed on each active level, ensuring resident safety while maintaining fire and smoke separation between floors.

At the top of the chute, a dedicated vent and wash‑down cleaning system supports airflow, odour control, and internal hygiene, contributing to long‑term system performance in a residential environment.

At basement level, waste and recycling are discharged via an eDiverter™ discharge system to suit 660L mobile garbage bins. The straight‑through chute configuration eliminates offsets, reducing maintenance requirements and supporting efficient bin handling as part of the building’s broader residential waste management system.
