Princes Highway Residences is a medium density residential development delivered by FC Building in Sydney’s southern corridor, offering convenient access to transport, retail, and local services. The building required a centralised waste solution capable of managing daily residential volumes while maintaining safety, reliability, and long term operational performance.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions designed and installed a robust vertical system using durable galvanised steel Chute Systems to support consistent waste transfer across multiple residential levels. Each floor is equipped with fire rated, self closing Chute Doors to improve safety, control odour movement, and reduce the risk of misuse.
At ground level, waste is directed through compliant Discharge Attachments into a carousel compactor arrangement, improving bin management and reducing manual handling. The Carousel Bin System supports efficient collection using 240 litre mobile garbage bins while maximising available space within the waste room.
An integrated washdown and odour relief system forms part of Elephants Foot’s broader Odour Management approach, helping maintain hygiene, reduce blockages, and support long term system reliability. The completed installation delivers a compliant, low maintenance solution aligned with the operational needs of medium to high density residential living.
