Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was contracted by 5point Projects to deliver a tailored waste management solution for Perspective Broadwater, a boutique residential development on the Gold Coast. Developed by Sherpa Property Group, the project comprises seven full-floor residences and a two-level penthouse, offering panoramic views across the Broadwater, South Stradbroke Island, and the city skyline.
The scope of works involved the supply and installation of a premium eDiverter® Chute System spanning seven residential levels. Each level was fitted with a fire-rated, self-closing Chute Door with compliant signage, ensuring both safety and accessibility. The chute system was designed as a straight vertical run for efficiency, with any offsets beyond the discharge level specified as variations.
At the rooftop level, a vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed to maintain hygiene and odour control, discharging through to open air above the building. On the ground floor, the discharge room was fitted with a custom eDiverter® Discharge Attachment configured to suit 1000L mobile garbage bins for waste and 660L bins for recycling.
This integrated solution provided Perspective Broadwater with a reliable and space-efficient waste system, matching the building’s boutique design and ensuring compliance with Queensland residential building standards.
