Dual Waste and Recycling Chute System for Park Lane, Lutwyche

Elephants Foot partnered with Sig Construction Group to supply and install a dual chute system at Park Lane, a boutique residential development designed by Ferro Arch Architects. Featuring 19 premium apartments with large terraces and open-plan layouts, Park Lane blends contemporary design with parkside living.

The project scope included a compact but efficient chute system: two 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes, one each for general waste and recycling. Both chutes were fitted with fire-rated, self-closing hopper doors for resident use, supported by vent and washdown cleaning systems to maintain hygiene.

At the ground-floor bin room, the system was completed with two Type A discharge doors, configured to suit mobile garbage bins (MGBs) for both waste and recycling. This ensures residents benefit from convenient, compliant, and sustainable waste management.
