Elephants Foot Chute Solutions Installs Dual Chute Systems for Paramount on Parkes in Harris Park

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with ALAND to deliver large-scale waste infrastructure for Paramount on Parkes, a landmark mixed-use development in Harris Park. Rising 46 storeys, the project features more than 300 residential apartments, podium-level amenities, and six floors of commercial suites, requiring a robust and efficient waste system to support daily operations.

The scope of works involved the design, supply, and installation of a Dual Chute System spanning 80 galvanised steel chute pipe levels configured as two parallel chutes. From ground to level 39, both the primary and backup waste chutes were fitted with 39 fire-rated, self-closing Chute Doors each, upgraded with key-locking hardware for security and compliance. Two bypass levels were included at ground level.

At the rooftop, two vent and wash-down cleaning systems were installed, discharging to open air above the building to ensure hygiene and odour management. At basement level, the discharge room was equipped with a Linear Track Bin System designed for 1100L MGBs, supported by a custom Type A Bottom Discharge Attachment for the backup chute.

This large-scale installation ensures Paramount on Parkes benefits from a resilient and efficient dual chute solution, integrating safety, redundancy, and advanced compaction technology to meet the demands of a high-density mixed-use tower.
