Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Versatile Construction to deliver a tailored waste chute system for Ozone, a nine-storey luxury residential development in Cronulla. Developed by Sammut Developments and designed by PBD Architects, the project required a high-performance, compliant, and space-efficient waste management solution.

The installation comprised nine galvanised steel chute pipes serving all residential levels, fitted with nine fire-rated, self-closing intake hopper doors complete with signage. To adapt the system to the building’s design, three custom chute offsets were fabricated for levels G, 6, and 7.

To maintain system hygiene and operational reliability, a vent and washdown cleaning system was installed at the rooftop level. At the basement discharge room, Elephants Foot integrated a carousel compactor system designed to suit 240L MGBs, optimising space and streamlining waste handling operations.

This customised solution ensured that Ozone Cronulla’s waste management system met compliance standards while delivering durability, convenience, and long-term operational efficiency.
