Marquee Partners with Elephants Foot Chute Solutions for Monterey, Kirra Beach

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions designed and installed a coastal-optimised waste management system for Marquee’s 14-level Monterey development at Kirra Beach. This luxury north-facing residence features oversized three-to-five bedroom apartments requiring a waste solution that withstands coastal conditions while maintaining premium residential standards.

The installation features a 610mm diameter, 1.6mm thick galvanised steel eDiverter system serving levels 02 through 14. The system includes 13 marine-treated fire-rated hopper doors with medium-temperature smoke seals, specifically engineered for coastal environments.

Comprehensive odour management features an automatic flushing spray on level 14, vented through to open air with a maximum 3000mm run above the chute head. The ground-level discharge room utilises Embelton NRD isolation mounts for vibration control and includes a reusable 610mm slab penetration ring former for future maintenance access. The system’s minor offset eDiverter stream configuration ensures optimal waste flow while maintaining architectural aesthetics.
