Elephants Foot delivered a robust dual chute system for Tower 1 at BLVD, the third tower within the Melbourne Square development. The chute solution was designed to service 602 apartments across 74 levels, including provisions for waste and recycling segregation, efficient discharge, and airflow management.
The installation featured steel chute pipes with self-closing, fire-rated hopper doors on 65 residential levels, in addition to strategically placed bypass levels and offset configurations. The design also included odour relief vents and flushing sprays to maintain hygiene and meet compliance requirements for high-rise applications.
