Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Buildcap Construction to deliver waste chute systems for Marine Quarter, a dual-tower residential project on the edge of the Broadwater Parklands in Southport. Comprising the Oceanic Tower and Scenic Tower, the project required tailored waste infrastructure to meet the demands of its high-rise design.
For Stage 1 (Oceanic Tower), a waste chute system was installed across 28 levels. The system included 25 fire-rated, self-closing Chute Doors, each with custom intake door extensions to accommodate wall thicknesses of 250–370mm. The installation also featured 28 custom chute support brackets, a rooftop vent and wash-down system, and a ground-level Discharge Attachment configured as a Type A unit to suit 2000L MGBs.
For Stage 2 (Scenic Tower), another waste chute system was installed across 30 levels with 27 fire-rated chute doors, compliant signage, and a rooftop vent and wash-down system. The ground-level discharge room was fitted with a second Type A Discharge Chute designed for 2000L MGBs.
Together, the two towers incorporated 58 galvanised steel chute pipe levels, 52 intake doors with compliant signage, and multiple customisations including support brackets, offsets, and door extensions. These solutions ensured both towers were equipped with durable, compliant, and resident-friendly waste systems.
