Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Mosaic Construction Pty Ltd to supply and install a fully customised eDiverter® Chute System for Marella, a 30-storey luxury residential tower in Broadbeach. Designed for premium apartment living, Marella integrates resort-style amenities, sophisticated finishes, and a waste management system engineered to the same high standards.
The installation spans 30 levels, with 610mm diameter galvanised steel chute pipes fabricated to withstand long-term use in a high-rise coastal environment. To accommodate non-conforming hobs on levels 06–30, Elephants Foot engineered and installed custom-positioned and length-adjusted chute support legs, ensuring stability and compliance across the tower.
Each residential floor from level 02 to 30 is serviced by 29 fire-rated, self-closing hopper doors, providing both safety and performance. Acoustic comfort was prioritised through 30 acoustic lagging upgrades using glass wool insulation to minimise noise transfer.
At the top of the system, level 30 incorporates an odour relief vent with flushing spray, designed to exhaust through open air above the building, maintaining hygiene and air quality. On the ground floor, the discharge room houses a high capacity eDiverter® discharge system configured for 2000L MGBs, streamlining the separation of waste and recycling streams.
Additional scope included the supply of a service access panel at level 02, providing safe and convenient access for sprinkler fit-out.
