Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Platform Construction to deliver a dual eDiverter® Chute System and linen chute system for Imperial Square Stage One, Regal Residences, an 18-storey mixed-use tower forming part of the landmark Imperial Square precinct in Southport. Developed by Azzura, this stage comprises more than 100 apartments and required both general waste and linen disposal infrastructure to align with its high-density, luxury design.
The eDiverter chute system spanned 17 galvanised steel chute pipe levels, with 15 fire-rated Chute Doors fitted between levels 2 and 16. The system included a rooftop odour management unit with flushing spray, marine-coated door upgrades, and a basement-level eDiverter Discharge Attachment configured for 2000L MGBs. Variations required custom chute offsets and modifications to the eDiverter body to meet site-specific conditions.
The linen chute system was delivered across 16 levels, incorporating six fire-rated linen intake doors from levels 11 to 16. A custom offset at ground level, together with a Type A discharge chute attachment designed for linen trolleys, ensured operational efficiency for building services. A dedicated odour relief vent and flushing spray were installed at level 16 to maintain system hygiene.
Together, these installations provided Imperial Square with chute pipe levels, fire-rated intake doors, reusable slab penetration ring formers, and fully customised offset and discharge solutions, ensuring long-term durability, compliance, and convenience for residents and building operators.
