House is a medium density residential development delivered by Deicorp within Sydney’s inner west waterfront corridor at Drummoyne. Positioned close to village retail, public transport, and the Parramatta River, the building required a dedicated linen handling solution to support daily operations while maintaining safety, hygiene, and long term reliability.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions designed and installed a fully customised linen system using robust galvanised steel pipework from its integrated Chute Systems range. The system services two levels via a straight vertical chute configuration, allowing linen to travel efficiently from intake points to the basement discharge location without offsets, reducing wear points and ongoing maintenance.
Each level is fitted with custom fabricated, fire rated, self closing Chute Doors designed specifically for linen handling. This ensures controlled use, supports fire compartmentation, and improves safety for residents and building operators.
At basement level, linen is discharged via a custom bottom discharge arrangement designed to suit the building’s operational requirements. The simplified configuration supports efficient collection while maintaining clear access within the discharge room.
The completed installation delivers a compliant, purpose built linen chute solution that enhances operational efficiency, supports long term building performance, and aligns with Deicorp’s quality standards for residential developments.
