Highforest is a premium residential development by Mirvac, located at 55 Coonara Avenue, West Pennant Hills, set alongside Cumberland State Forest. The development combines contemporary residential living with extensive landscaped spaces and a strong connection to the surrounding natural environment.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed eight dual chute systems for Mirvac, one per lift core across four buildings, each servicing chute pipe levels from ground through to level 07. Every system is fitted with fire-rated self-closing intake doors to both waste and recycling streams, with two lift cores configured with bypass levels at ground floor, and odour relief vent and flushing spray points fitted to each system.
Discharge is managed across dedicated rooms in Basements 01 to 04, with minor offset configurations serving both waste and recycling streams throughout. Five systems are fitted with integrated single bin compactors to the waste stream, two with linear discharge systems, and one with a splitter system, matched to the layout and bin requirements of each lift core.
The completed installation gives Highforest a consistent, compliant waste and recycling solution across all four buildings, supporting streamlined collection and effective ongoing waste management for a large multi-building residential community.
