Elephants Foot Chute Solutions Delivers Custom Waste Chute Upgrade for Grace by Mosaic in Burleigh Heads

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Mosaic Property Group to undertake a specialised chute system upgrade for Grace by Mosaic, a boutique residential project in Burleigh Heads. Developed by Mosaic Property Group and designed by BDA Architecture, the project features 47 premium two- and three-bedroom apartments located only 75 metres from Burleigh Beach, blending coastal living with refined residential design.

The scope of works included design support, site measurement, and the removal and disposal of existing equipment before installing a fully customised discharge solution. Elephants Foot supplied and installed a non-combustible shut-off at the base of the chute, configured with a manual open and close pulley system to suit 2m³ bins. The installation also included all required bracing, such as turn buckles, fixings, and fittings, along with plant and equipment hire and freight management.

This tailored solution was engineered to improve both the safety and operational functionality of the building’s waste system, ensuring compliance with fire safety requirements while accommodating the practical needs of residents and building management.
