To meet these needs, Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a dedicated eDiverter™ chute system, providing controlled waste stream management and efficient vertical waste transfer across multiple residential levels. The installation incorporates durable 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes configured in a straight vertical arrangement, helping ensure consistent waste flow while minimising long‑term maintenance requirements—an important consideration for high‑density urban buildings.

Each intake level is fitted with fire‑rated, self‑closing eDiverter intake doors, providing safe, secure, and user‑friendly resident access while supporting building fire safety compliance. At the uppermost level, an integrated vent and wash‑down cleaning system assists with airflow, internal chute hygiene, and odour control, ensuring consistent performance under daily residential use.

At basement level, waste streams discharge through an eDiverter™ discharge system designed to suit 660L bins, supporting efficient collection logistics within the building’s service areas. Custom chute support brackets were also installed across all levels to suit the project’s structural and spatial requirements, ensuring installation stability while maintaining architectural and heritage considerations.
