Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill is a boutique luxury residential development by Jensen Projects, located at 134 Victoria Road, Bellevue Hill NSW, in one of Sydney’s most prestigious eastern suburbs. The development’s premium character and boutique scale required a refined and technically considered waste management solution that integrates seamlessly into the building’s operational infrastructure while meeting the high expectations of its residents.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to supply and install an eDiverter chute system tailored to the building’s layout and occupancy requirements. The system incorporates two custom dual hopper chute pipe levels, with four fire-rated self-closing eDiverter intake doors installed across ground floor and level 1, providing two intake points per level for both waste and recycling streams. The chute runs straight up and down, with the discharge room located at lower ground level fitted with an eDiverter discharge system configured to suit a 240L MGB.
A bespoke smart monitoring upgrade was incorporated as part of the installation, including full-bin indicator lights on all four eDiverter intake doors and optical sensors to measure bin capacity at discharge level. A lock-out function was also programmed into the eDiverter control box, preventing chute access to a selected stream when the corresponding discharge bin is full. This combination of hardware upgrades and customised programming delivers a premium and operationally intelligent waste management experience suited to a boutique luxury residential environment.
A vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed at level 1, discharging through to roof level above to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene throughout the shaft.
