Nautilus Stage 2B is a luxury waterfront residential development by Parkview Construction, located on Quayside Avenue, Shell Cove NSW, forming part of The Waterfront, a master-planned harbourside community on the NSW South Coast. The development spans six building cores across two building groups, each requiring an individually configured eDiverter chute system to suit its specific layout and discharge arrangement.

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to supply and install six eDiverter chute systems across Buildings A1 through A5 and Building B6, providing a combined total of 34 chute pipe levels and 34 fire-rated self-closing eDiverter intake doors installed at every operational level. The eDiverter system enables both waste and recycling streams to be managed through a single chute line, with an automated diverter at the base directing material to the correct bin, providing a space-efficient waste separation solution suited to a luxury waterfront residential environment.

Buildings A1 through A5 each service six chute pipe levels, with chute offsets incorporated above the eDiverter discharge point in all five buildings to suit site-specific constraints including adjacent columns and discharge room locations outside the direct chute path. Building B6 services four chute pipe levels with no offset required. All six discharge rooms are located at basement 2, each fitted with an eDiverter discharge system configured to suit 1,100L MGBs for both waste and recycling streams.

Vent and wash-down cleaning systems were installed at the top of all six chute shafts, discharging through to roof level above to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene throughout each shaft.

The completed installation provides Parkview Construction with a durable, compliant, and coordinated waste management solution suited to the scale and character of Nautilus Stage 2B, supporting efficient building operations and reliable long-term performance within The Waterfront master-planned community on the NSW South Coast.
