Downtown Zetland, developed by Deicorp, is a mixed-use residential development comprising more than 400 apartments across four buildings, ranging from 6 to 13 storeys. The apartment mix includes studios, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom configurations, designed by Architectus, MHNDU, and BVN.

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to design, supply, and install a comprehensive waste management system tailored to the high-density residential requirements. Building A featured three eDiverter chute systems to manage both recycling and waste streams, including custom linear compactor systems where standard solutions were restricted by ceiling height.

Buildings B, C, and D were equipped with nine dual chute systems (totaling 18 chutes), each integrated with Type ‘A’ bottom discharge chutes to suit 1,100L MGBs, chute doors with clear signage, and ventilation & wash-down systems to maintain hygiene and odour control.

This customised solution ensures efficient separation of waste and recycling, scalable operation across multiple buildings, and compliance with waste management plans (WMPs).
