Cabra Vale Diggers Club is a major hospitality and community venue redevelopment delivered by Wardan Group Constructions in Sydney’s south‑west. Designed to support high‑volume food service, entertainment operations, and daily patron activity, the facility required a reliable back‑of‑house waste and linen handling solution capable of maintaining operational efficiency, hygiene standards, and staff safety across multiple levels.
To meet these operational requirements, Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a dedicated commercial linen chute system designed to streamline the vertical transfer of used linen from operational floors to the basement discharge area. The system reduces manual handling, improves workflow efficiency for housekeeping and service teams, and supports consistent operational performance within a high‑traffic hospitality environment.
The installation includes 610mm galvanised steel chute pipes engineered for durability and long‑term reliability in commercial applications. Fire‑rated, self‑closing linen intake doors are installed across each operational level, providing secure and compliant access while ensuring safe day‑to‑day use by staff.
At the uppermost level, an integrated vent and wash‑down cleaning system supports airflow, odour management, and internal chute hygiene, helping maintain cleanliness and performance over time. Linen is discharged at basement level via a compliant bottom discharge arrangement designed to suit trolley handling requirements, forming part of the facility’s broader commercial waste and linen management infrastructure. Together, these elements provide a robust, low‑maintenance linen handling solution tailored to the operational demands of a high‑capacity hospitality venue.
