Elephants Foot Chute Solutions worked with Hutchinson Builders to supply and install dual waste chute systems for Cabana Residences, located at 1 Nineteenth Avenue, Palm Beach, QLD. This luxury beachfront development features 34 premium apartments and is designed to combine coastal living with practical and efficient waste management solutions.

The installation included two separate waste chute systems, each spanning 8 levels. All self-closing intake hoppers and doors were fitted with clear signage at every level, supporting safe, convenient, and hygienic disposal practices for residents. Each chute system is equipped with a vent and wash-down cleaning system extending from Level 8 to the rooftop to maintain long-term hygiene.

Type A bottom discharge chutes were installed for both systems, sized to suit 2m³ waste bins, while a Linear Track Bin System was integrated to enhance waste collection efficiency at ground level. All chute runs were installed straight up and down, with additional offsets available if required.

This dual chute system provides Cabana Residences with a safe, reliable, and discreet waste solution that complements the premium design of the beachfront apartments while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
