Elephants Foot Chute Solutions provided and installed high-performance dual chute systems for Assemble MRK, a build-to-rent (BTR) community developed by Hacer in inner Melbourne. The development comprises 362 residential apartments spread across five separate buildings, each equipped with a dedicated waste and recycling chute system.

Our tailored solution included acoustic-lagged galvanised steel chute pipes, fire-rated key-locking hopper doors, offset discharge configurations, and integrated ventilation and flushing units to control odour and improve hygiene. Discharge rooms were fitted with custom bin carousel systems to accommodate varying bin sizes, improving efficiency and safety for both residents and facility managers.

Each system was engineered to suit the vertical layout of the buildings while maintaining compliance with fire safety and waste management standards. The result is a user-friendly, low-maintenance waste solution aligned with best practices in sustainable, high-density living.
