Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Blaq Property to deliver a waste chute system for ASEA, a 13-storey residential development in Wollongong completed in 2022. The project comprises more than 50 luxury apartments and required a streamlined and compliant waste solution tailored to the building’s modern design.

The installation included galvanised steel chute pipe, running vertically from ground to level 13. A total of 13 self-closing, fire-rated Chute Doors with signage were installed across the residential floors, with the ground level designated as a bypass.

At the rooftop level, a vent and wash-down cleaning system was provided, discharging through open air to ensure hygiene and odour control. The basement discharge room was completed with a Type A Bottom Discharge Attachment configured to suit 1100L MGBs, supporting reliable waste handling for the entire building.

The straight vertical chute run minimised complexity and long-term maintenance, delivering a practical, safe, and efficient system for residents of ASEA.
