A centrally located high density residential development supported by a modern, future ready waste and recycling chute system.

Archibald is a high density residential development delivered by Parkview Constructions in one of Sydney’s most active inner eastern precincts. Located above a major retail and transport corridor, the building required a centralised waste and recycling solution capable of managing high daily resident volumes while maintaining safety, compliance, and long term operational reliability.

Elephants Foot Chute Solutions delivered an integrated system built around the eDiverter Chute System, enabling waste and recycling separation at the discharge point without the need for multiple vertical risers. This reduced structural complexity while improving operational efficiency across the building.

The chute riser was engineered using Elephants Foot Chute Systems, accommodating a major ground level offset while maintaining consistent gravity flow and system performance. Each residential level was fitted with fire rated, self closing Chute Doors to support safe resident use, reduce odour escape, and minimise the risk of chute blockages.

At lower ground level, the system connects to compliant Discharge Attachments and integrates a Linear Track Bin System, improving bin presentation, reducing manual handling, and supporting safer waste collection within a constrained waste room environment.

System hygiene and long term performance are maintained through a dedicated vent and wash down configuration supported by Elephants Foot Odour Management solutions, helping to control odours and maintain a clean internal chute environment across all levels.
