Anglicare is a medium density residential development delivered by Binah Constructions in Sydney’s south west region. The project required a centralised waste solution to manage daily resident volumes while prioritising safety, reliability, and long term building performance.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions designed and installed a single waste system using durable galvanised steel pipework as part of its integrated Chute Systems. The vertical configuration provides a straight through gravity assisted waste path, supporting consistent performance and reducing the risk of blockages across all serviced levels.
Each residential level is fitted with fire rated, self closing Chute Doors to control waste disposal, support fire compartmentation, and improve resident safety. Clear, compliant signage at each intake point helps reduce contamination and promotes correct waste behaviour.
At ground level, waste is transferred via compliant Discharge Attachments and managed using a Linear Track Bin System with integrated compaction. This approach improves bin handling efficiency, reduces collection frequency, and minimises manual handling within the waste room.
An integrated Odour Management solution, including a vent and wash down cleaning system, supports hygiene and resident amenity while maintaining long term system performance.
The completed installation delivers a reliable, low maintenance waste solution aligned with Anglicare’s focus on safe operations and durable building infrastructure.
