
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions partnered with Hacer Group to supply and install a dual chute system and linen chute system for 2B-2 Serviced Apartments, a 14-storey luxury serviced apartment development on Waterfront Way, Docklands VIC, designed by Fender Katsalidis. The tower accommodates 211 serviced apartments above Market Lane, offering modern, urban living with premium finishes.
The dual chute system manages both waste and recycling streams with 510mm galvanised steel chute pipes, self-closing chute doors, and Type A bottom discharge chutes for 1100L MGB bins. Integrated vent and wash-down systems ensure odour management and easy cleaning across the top level.
The linen chute system operates across 12 levels with intake hoppers for resident linen disposal, a Type A discharge chute suited for a selected trolley size, and bypass and offset options where required. Self-closing doors and signage enhance safety, while vent and wash-down systems maintain hygiene throughout the building.
This installation demonstrates Elephants Foot’s ability to deliver customised, reliable, and efficient waste and linen management solutions for high-density serviced apartments in Melbourne.
