
Park Lane is a boutique luxury residential development by Figurehead Constructions, located at 22-26 Riddell Parade, Elsternwick VIC, within Melbourne’s City of Glen Eira. The development’s boutique scale and premium residential character required a space-efficient and compliant waste management solution that integrates seamlessly into the building’s operational infrastructure.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed an eDiverter chute system across nine chute pipe levels, with nine fire-rated self-closing eDiverter intake doors installed at every operational level. The eDiverter system enables both waste and recycling streams to be managed through a single chute line, with an automated diverter at the base directing material to the correct bin. The chute runs straight up and down with no offsets, with the discharge room located at ground level fitted with an eDiverter discharge system configured to suit 1,100L MGBs for both waste and recycling streams.
A vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed at the top of the chute shaft to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene throughout the shaft.
