Boutique is a luxury residential development by Draycon Building, located at 17-19 Parneno Street, Chevron Island QLD, on the northern end of one of the Gold Coast’s most tightly held island addresses. The development’s premium character and multi-level configuration required a space-efficient and compliant waste management solution capable of servicing residential levels while accommodating the building’s mezzanine and recreational level layout.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions was engaged to supply and install an eDiverter chute system tailored to the building’s vertical layout and occupancy requirements. The eDiverter system enables both waste and recycling streams to be managed through a single chute line, with an automated diverter at the base directing material to the correct bin, providing a practical and space-efficient waste separation solution well suited to a luxury high-rise residential environment.
The installation services 15 chute pipe levels, with 13 fire-rated self-closing eDiverter intake doors installed across all residential operational levels. Bypass configurations were incorporated at both the mezzanine and recreational levels, allowing the chute to pass through those floors without intake access. The chute runs straight up and down throughout the shaft, with the discharge room located at ground level fitted with an eDiverter discharge system configured to suit the selected MGB.
A vent and wash-down cleaning system was installed at the top of the chute shaft, discharging through to open air on the level above to support airflow management, odour control, and internal chute hygiene throughout the full height of the shaft.
The completed installation provides Draycon Building with a durable, compliant, and low-maintenance waste management solution tailored to the operational demands of Boutique, supporting efficient building operations and a premium residential experience for occupants on one of the Gold Coast’s most prestigious island addresses.
