Amaya is a luxury high-rise residential development by Capital Constructions Queensland, located at 30 First Avenue, Broadbeach QLD, approximately 300 metres from the beach in one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after lifestyle precincts. The development required a dual waste and recycling chute system tailored to the building’s vertical layout and high-density occupancy requirements.
Elephants Foot Chute Solutions supplied and installed a dual chute system providing 32 chute pipe levels and 64 fire-rated self-closing intake doors across waste and recycling streams. The system incorporates 32 standard waste hoppers and 32 standard recycling hoppers distributed across all operational levels, with individual discharge sections configured with minor offsets to suit 2000L mobile garbage bins. Both discharge rooms are located at Level 1, optimising waste room functionality and building management operations.
Odour relief vent and flushing spray systems were installed at the top of the chute shaft to support airflow management and internal hygiene throughout the installation. The system was constructed using 510mm diameter 1.6mm galvanised steel chute pipes, ensuring durable long-term performance aligned with Queensland compliance requirements and supporting efficient waste transfer across multiple levels in this beachfront luxury residential environment.
