Material Feeding:
The waste materials are manually or automatically fed into the baler through the designated feed opening.
Compaction Process:
The materials are loaded and then the fully automated system activates, using hydraulic pressure to compact the waste into high-quality bales.
Bale Ejection:
Once the baling process is complete, the system automatically ejects the compacted bale. The hydraulic system locks the gate to ensure safe and easy removal, reducing manual intervention.
Bale Collection & Recycling:
The bales can be stored or directly transported for recycling, helping businesses reduce landfill waste and contribute to sustainability goals.

Material Feeding
Waste materials like cardboard, plastic, or paper are loaded manually into the baler. The design ensures easy access and smooth operation for quick material feeding.
Compaction Process
The baler uses hydraulic pressure to compact the loaded materials. A heavy-duty close-gate design and hydraulic-locked gates ensure tightly compressed bales with reduced air gaps.
Manual Bale Tying
Once the compaction is complete, the operator secures the bale manually using the built-in tie-up mechanism that ensures the bale is compact, secure, and ready for storage or transportation.
Bale Collection and Recycling
The bales are collected and sent for recycling, optimising waste management and reducing operational costs while ensuring consistent, high-quality output for recyclable materials.

FAQs

Got any questions? We are here to help

How does an Automatic Horizontal Baler operate?

An Automatic Horizontal Baler compacts materials using an automatic process, eliminating the need for constant manual oversight. It compresses the materials into dense bales and can either automatically or manually tie them based on the model.

How often should horizontal balers be maintained?

To ensure optimal performance, we recommend scheduling routine maintenance for your horizontal baler every 6 to 12 months. Regular checks of hydraulic systems, lubrication, and parts replacement help minimise downtime and extend the life of the baler.

Our service and care team can assist with maintenance and repair. Contact us to book an appointment.

What is the bale weight range for Horizontal Balers?

Our Horizontal Balers can produce bales ranging from 200 kg to 1 tonne, depending on the model and material being processed. This range makes them ideal for facilities managing high volumes of waste.

How much compaction force do Horizontal Balers provide?

The EF horizontal baler range offers a pressing force of up to 60 tonnes, ensuring that your materials are compacted efficiently and thoroughly, no matter the volume.

What industries are horizontal balers recommended for?

Horizontal balers are recommended for industries such as waste management companies, distribution centres, recycling facilities, and any high-volume operations dealing with large amounts of recyclable materials like cardboard, paper, plastic, and foam. Contact us to request a quote.
