Painter’s Dream Come True – Paint Can Crushers

Posted on August 24th, 2012 by admin

When you think of can crushers you probably have visions of a burly man crushing a beer can with his fist and forehead. Or maybe you recall stomping your own soda can and tossing it into the recycle bin.  Then there’s the quasi-automatic can crusher that screws into a wall then you place the can on the stand and press the lever to smash it flat.  This article isn’t about those types of can crushers.  We’re talking about Elephant’s Foot can crushers.  Curious?  Read on.

You can imagine what a headache getting rid of paint cans is for professional painters and automobile paint shops.  The paint is almost always shipped in a tin and when it’s empty it must be disposed of properly. This results in some hefty disposal fees for commercial businesses.

Elephant’s Foot 20 litre paint can crusher smashes paint cans to just a fraction of their normal size.  This reduces the space these cans take up as well as the costs to ship them to a disposal area.  Painting companies are recovering the costs of the can crusher by saving money on waste costs.

We also have a large-scale, heavy duty drum crusher suitable for flattening large drums into small packages.  For example, we have a 205 litre drum crusher which crushes standard 205 litre steel drums to 120-150mm.  The unit is so versatile that it will also crush car oil filters.

Now that’s a can crusher!
