Patented System

The ECO compactor is the optimum technology for compacting general waste in a multi user environment. The ECO @Internet database management system is designed to collect all information from each user who disposes of waste in the ECO compactor.

Each tenant is supplied with their own pre-programmed security swipe card. When a tenant approaches the unit they are required to follow the on screen instructions.

Operations are as follows:

1. Swipe the card
2. Place the waste in the hopper when the door automatically opens. (The door cannot be opened unless the card swiped is programmed to be accepted by the Eco compactor).
3. The tenant places the waste inside and presses the start button.
4. Should the tenant fail to press the start button, after 60 seconds, the door will close and the compactor will compact and register the waste to the last swipe card user.
5. Waste is weighed and displayed on the screen for the tenant. The information is sent via GPS to our ECO @internet database
   management system.

The ECO @internet database management system can be accessed by anyone who holds the password. All information can be downloaded to an excel spreadsheet.

The compactor itself works on a blade compaction system. The compaction ratio is 5:1 and the hopper has a built in automatic odour control system to ensure odours are kept to a minimum.

ECO@internet from Pöttinger is the intelligent disposal concept that has a number of technical, environmental and economical advantages for its users:

• Fair, pay-as-you-go invoicing (optional feature)– EU calibrated scales +/- 0.1 kg
• Reduced transport costs due to waste being compacted approximately 5:1, saves time-consuming emptying of individual wheelie bins at every house or unit.
• No smells – tidy appearance
• Daily statistics and reports available over the Internet
• Container level warnings and malfunction alarms sent by SMS and/or e-mail
• Invoicing by charge card or pay-as-you-go card or simply use itas an authorised resident ID swipe card system

3500kg of waste can be compacted into a 10m3 compactor bin.

ECO stationary

The customised solution for use at shopping centres, airports, stadiums,  etc. enabling a fair division of the waste disposal fees incurred between the individual companies.

Odour control is installed as a standard kit on all compactors.

The ECO Static is available both for infeed from the ground and infeed from a ramp.
