The MULTIPRESS screw compactor range from Pöttinger – a modular waste disposal system that can be tailored to different operating conditions and guarantees maximum efficiency.

The Pottinger Auger is self lubricating and robust drive/chain tensioner system, gives a reliable and maintenance free operation.

Cardboard and paper

The screw compactor is the optimum technology for compacting bulky cardboard and large volumes. The large filling opening and efficient intake system guarantee fast, trouble-free processing. Optimum intake and compaction of whole or flattened cardboard. The screw compactor shreds and compacts packaging waste in a single step.

Introducing the paddle system to aid the auger in feeding in bulky flattened pieces of cardboard.

Timber Pallets

Even whole europallets, bulky items or disposable containers are easily shredded then highly compacted. The edges of the oversized screw have special crusher plates, giving unparalleled performance. The modified hopper guarantees perfect pallet intake.

The machine can be fed manually , by a bin lifter, from ground level , from a ramp, or conveniently from the building via a chute. The screw  compactor’s small footprint means it can be easily tailored to the operating site.

General waste

The powerful screw shreds and compacts most loads with maximum efficiency and speed. Coarse shredding gives significantly higher filling weights than hydraulic press systems. The continuous feed and large filling opening mean rapid processing.
