Before:

• Paying a general waste company $85.00 plus GST per lift for a 4.5m3 bin 5 days a week.
• Paying for a cardboard bin collection $28.00 per pick up – twice a week

After:

• Elephants Foot delivered an LG 1.0m3 baler.
• All cardboard was baled and collected for free weekly.
• The customer then made sure all plastics were also baled, reducing general waste collections from 5 days a week to 3 days a week.
• An approximate saving of $170.00 per week- approximately $8,000 per year on their current agreement.
• The customer is also receiving rebates for the baled plastics.

National logistics & freight forwarder

Before:

• Up to 15 skip bins collected daily of mixed and recyclable waste costing approximately $150,000 per year in fees
• Bins taking up valuable floor space both inside the warehouse and out

After:

• As a partnership with a national recycling company, bins were replaced with balers.
• Elephants Foot balers and compactors were supplied for free with partnership with our recycling partners, with free collections for all cardboard, plastic and polystyrene material from site.
• The customer reduced general waste collections to 2 bins per week
• The customer is now recycling 90% of their waste , reclaimed yard space and saving over  $100,000 per year  in fees
