EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) Machine

Introducing the SH40A polystyrene recycling unit

Managing EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) waste has long been a problem for retailers and business.

Elephants Foot would like to introduce a new revolutionary polystyrene recycling machine.

Polystyrene is made up of 98% air. Due to its light and bulky properties, polystyrene quickly filling up expensive general waste bins with a fully recyclable product. Recycled EPS is a commodity, why pay someone to take money away from you? Using simple heat technology, EPS is quickly reduced to 100:1.

The smallest unit (SH40A) has the capacity to process 30-40 KG of EPS per hour.

Suitable for the following industries:

  • Retail
  • Fruit shops
  • Shopping centres
  • Clubs and hotels
  • Waste management facilities
  • Warehousing and logistics

And many more business streams.

The small blocks produced can weigh up to 15 kg.

Elephant’s Foot at Maldivies

Maldives here we come!

This month we exported our HD3.8 Horizontal baler to the “One & Only Resort” in the Maldives.

Fully designed and manufactured right here in Sydney, the Elephants Foot HD3.8 will be used not only for compacting recyclables but also all general waste on the Island. Once compacted, the waste will be shipped to the mainland for disposal.

The HD3.8 can compact certain waste materials to 900Kg blocks with a bale size of 1100(H) x1100(W) x1700(L). This heavy duty machine is designed to compact up to 5 tonnes per hour. The machine will automatically compact as you feed it with your materials. When the compaction chamber is the full, the red warning light will flash to indicate the machine is now finished compacting and the bale is now ready to tie.

The HD3.8 hopper can be modified to work with automatic conveyor belt feeding, bin lifter or hand loading.
